Cheesewring Farm Campsite
Cheesewring Farm campsite is a "Hideaway" site set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the edge of Bodmin Moor. The site provides Peace and Tranquility in a secluded setting to ensure you are able to relax and unwind far from the hustle and bustle of the crowds. You will enjoy stunning views of the Lynher and Tamar valleys (where the sun rises), gaze at the towering bulk of Stowe's hill behind you, enjoy watching the sun set over the craggy top of Sharp Tor and experience the delights of the moorland all around.
Our campsite is registered with the Camping and Caravanning club to host up to five caravans/motorhomes, plus ten tents. Guests may choose to pitch on the grass or hard standing with an option of an electrical hook-up. The grass is sloping but we provide additional levelling blocks if needed - the hard standings are fairly level.
Testimonial from a recent guest (taken from “UK Campsite”)
"The views from Cheesewring Farm are magnificent! After spending a week here we feel refreshed and uplifted and would recommend this site to anyone looking for a relaxing break on Bodmin Moor. The toilets and showers are spotlessly clean and well presented. Washing machine, freezer and microwave are also available if needed.
The owners are working hard to introduce their own ideas and very high standards to this already well presented site.
We were greeted with a cream tea which was delicious and a very welcome surprise. We have been caravanning since 1977 and we have never had a welcome gift before. I told you, they have high standards and good ideas at Cheesewring Farm!
We are really looking forward to another visit."

A recent upgrade to the site has provided more levelled areas and EHU for tents. These can be made available for caravans/motorhomes if no tents are booked in.
Campfires are allowable in the metal fire-pits we have on site (donations for use to Air Ambulance box please). Campers may use their own fire-pits and barbeques provided they are on legs and keep the main heat off the grass.
